The Resort consists of 6 luxury thatched villas placed overlooking the beach and lagoon of Vilanculos, with the islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago dotted on the horizon.
Each Villa has 4 en-suite double bedrooms, accommodating 8 adults (sharing) comfortably in their spacious rooms. All rooms are kitted with aircons, mosquito nets and have ample cupboard space. The villa’s also have a fully kitted kitchen and lounge / living area with satellite TV. A covered deck with dining area and plunge pool completes the outdoor living area.
The houses at Vila do Paraiso are fully equipped with cutlery, crockery and linen and a small safe is available to store your valuables. Each Vila is equipped with standard South African type wall plugs. They are round three-prong Clipsal type plugs. It is recommended to bring your own adapters to fit your personal electrical items.
There is a basic common area found at the center of Vila Paraiso that consists of a restaurant and thatch-shaded outside lounge space. Here bar area opens up to a larger communal swimming pool where you can enjoy some basic bar fare like burgers and pizzas or, if there is the option, a large seafood buffet styled dinner. The restaurant is open to day visitors, so do expect a slight wait if there is a crowd.
Tropical Adventure
There is so much on offer at Vila Do Paraiso, with a ski-boat plus skipper available to each villa to explore the tropical islands – be it sport fishing, skin diving or scuba diving, island picnics, etc. They also offer horse riding, camel rides, curio shopping and beach games closer to home.
