Child policiesChildren of all ages are welcome.
• Children’s menu and activities are available.
• Children sharing with only one adult: first child pays the full adult sharing rate; any additional children pay the
applicable children sharing rate.
• Children not sharing with adults: first two children pay the full adult sharing rate each; any additional children pay
the applicable children sharing rate.
• Maximum 2 children between 0 and 15 years old, in a room, sharing with 2 adults.
Terms and ConditionsTransfers
• Please be courteous and observe the instructions of the skipper. There is no smoking at all on the boat. Alcohol and
intoxicated persons are a danger and are not permitted.
• Please note that if a boat needs to be cancelled due to unforeseen weather circumstances, guests will
need to book alternative accommodation in Maputo and claim these charges from their travel insurance,
lost bed nights at Machangulo Beach Lodge will not be refunded or substituted with hotel nights in
Maputo, and will need to be claimed from travel insurance.
• Road transfers between Santa Maria and Maputo via the Maputo Special Reserve are available, please as the
reservations team for more information.
Bookings
• No check-in or check-outs are permitted on the 25th of December 2021 or on the 1st of January 2022.
• By booking you agree to all the Terms and Conditions of Machangulo Beach Lodge and any of its managers, owner,
and agents.
• The use of Machangulo Beach Lodge, all its facilities and activities, including the use of the boats, are at own risk.
• Machangulo Beach Lodge will not be held liable for any loss or injury whatsoever.
• We highly recommend that all guests travel fully insured for peace of mind.
• Guests will be required to sign an indemnity form upon arrival – this will be requested during orientation once you
arrive at the lodge.
• Machangulo Beach Lodge reserves the right to change any of the quoted prices.
Payment
• Agent bookings – All bookings need to be paid 7 days prior to check-in date.
• Machangulo Beach Lodge determines a fixed exchange rate for all major currencies, these rates are based on
current bank rates but may differ from your bank’s rate. The rates are not negotiable but are available upon request.
Cancellations and Refunds
• Machangulo Beach Lodge’s rates offer the best value in Mozambique but are strictly non-refundable if
cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival. This specifically includes weather delays, border delays, travel
delays, airline delays and any medical or personal reasons. No compensation for missed nights is offered
in any way.
Activities
All activities may be arranged at the lodge upon arrival. Activities are weather and tide dependent and as such cannot
be guaranteed. In the case of activities being pre-booked and paid for in advance and the activity cannot be provided
Machangulo Beach Lodge will not be held responsible. It is not recommended to pre-book activities
