Welcome

The Chicuanga Resort is situated on the scenic east coast of Mozambique, 250 km North of Maputo.

The resort is situated amongst coastal dunes and inland lakes. This combination offers unique opportunities for bird watching, quad biking, snorkeling, swimming and spear fishing.
The resort offers a beautiful beach with a natural reef running all along the front, which makes it a safe swimming beach, registered launch site for boats and Jet Ski’s. Fishing and boat licenses can be obtained from our reception.

Set in Chizavane, Chicuanga offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a restaurant, a bar and a shared lounge. All units come with a patio, a kitchen with a microwave and a fridge, and a private bathroom.

Continental and à la carte breakfast options are available every morning at the lodge.

Bedrooms are private, and contain double beds. Lofts are semi-private & are furnished with single beds (amount of beds in brackets).

To see correct prices and occupancy info, add the number and ages of children in your group to your search. Check in and departures All visitors to Chicuanga resort are requested to contact Management either by phone or SMS at least two hours prior to their arrival – number on reservation confirmation form, to confirm the estimate time of arrival. Arrivals after 22h00 need to be arranged prior to arrival. Home owners and visitors should check-in at the Management office at least one hour after their arrival and late arrivals should confirm their arrival by checking in before 09H00 of the following day All visitors and home owners should confirm their departure with management and when applicable hand in house keys with their departure or leave it with security at the main gate. All house questionnaires should be completed with regard maintenance issues and if possible all problems that needs repair and maintenance should be discussed with Management prior to departure.
